|
|
Ok it's time to think about those smaller incidental gifts you give at Christmas.
Teacher Gifts
Neighbour Gifts
the list goes on
This month we are making them Altered Notebooks. Either large or small, it doesn't matter. Our aim for the month though is if we have 5 Notebooks we want to give as Christmas Gifts is to get them done.
So have a think through your list and come back and post how many you would 'like' to get completed this month.
Then upload your images into the Notebook Album in the Altered Items Category in the gallery.
If you have never done one they are super easy and make gorgeous inexpensive gifts. There is a thread here explaining how to make them so just let us know and we'll give you a hand.
Ends - 29th September
Criteria - Altered Notebooks for xmas gifts, need to post how many you want to make and then aim for that figure.
Uploading Images - Please load your images into the Altered Notebooks Album and include September 06 Challenge in your title.
Our Aims
AIB - 3
Jenny - 4
Mouse - 5
Danni - 4
Deanne - 4 _________________ Cheers

Hmmm... I haven't tried these before. No time like the present. I'll try for 5 but it will probably be more like 3. _________________ Chantal

Ok, have thought about it and put me down for 5... I have two notebooks sitting here to be done already, so no probs to pick up 3 more...
And... all that lovely paper and embellishments I recently won in Ngaire Bartlam's raffle will come in handy (I'm dying to use it!) _________________ ~Mousey~

I liked this challenge because it was something that I've never done before. Looking at the other entries I'm noticing some great work that has me asking the question....... how do you get your paper to the edge of the cover? I'm assuming that you've unwound it from the spiral end and then rethread it back on - is that right?
My paper butts up against the end of the spiral and I wasn't entirely happy with the end result because I could still see the original cover. So any help for future efforts would be wonderful!! Ta muchly _________________ Chantal
